Penber Raye (レイペンバー, Rei Penbā?) Is an FBI investigator, sent to Japan with eleven other agents to assist in the early search for Kira. It is described as a unique "talent" as an agent, is assigned to Raye Yagami family to investigate suspicious behavior. He has a girlfriend, Mysore, who says he will not involve itself in research for their own safety. Light keeps track of it and uses it as a pawn to kill other members of his team. Light Raye killed shortly thereafter. Raye is interpreted (Voice) Hideo Ishikawa of the Japanese anime and Michael Adamthwaite in the English dub. In the movies, is known as Raye Iwamatsu (レイイワマツ, Iwamatsu Rei?) And is played by Shigeki Hosokawa. In the movies is an agent that fight against terrorism based in Dallas, Texas.
